Blue River are an indie-pop rock quartet who are taking the burgeoning Cornish indie scene by storm. Featuring the intricate, unique guitarmanship of Marc Willoughby, the timeless vocals of Perran Nicholls, with the pounding and rhythmic drums of Terry McGowan and the deep, determined bass of Matt Bond, the band showcase that if no man is an island, when together Blue River are a whole damn continent.
Blue River have now signed to CPR Records for a publishing contract for their new highly anticipated album 'Life Imitating Art' as they will continue to release hit upon hit by harnessing their signature catchy pop/rock style. This has never been more evident than in the new Album released on May 28th
Blue River have become a staple of the BBC Introducing scene in Cornwall, having played the Introducing stages at both Boardmasters and the Little Orchard Festival in 2016, each successive single release almost picks itself for the BBC Introducing shows on Radio Cornwall.
Bringing together solid rhythms, catchy melodies and vocal harmonies to create a sense of pleasing pop perfection, with the right amount of dirtiness to keep you satisfied.
We welcome them to the fold here at CPR Records and look forward to the future with one of Cornwalls Leading Indie Pop/Rock bands and the coming release of their great Summer album.
